Why I made this
I was the woman giving everything to everyone
Two daughters. A husband. A business. A team. A life that, on paper, looked beautiful. And inside - a quiet exhaustion I couldn't name. I would lie down at night with my daughters and only then notice my shoulders had been holding the whole day.
I tried what every woman tries. Affirmation apps - the words slid past me. Journals - my hand wrote what my head already knew. Self-help books - inspiring for two days, then back to autopilot. Every method spoke to my mind. Nothing reached the body.
Then one morning I did three small things in a row. I opened a card with one sentence. I dropped a single oil onto my collarbone and breathed it in. I pressed play on a song I had written for myself. Two minutes. And the whole day shifted.
Not a miracle. Nothing dramatic. Just - present. My shoulders softer. The first ‘no’ I said that day didn't cost me anything. The first ‘yes’ was actually mine. I noticed I was breathing in a body that felt like home, not a list of obligations.
A week later - subtle, but real - I was waking before the alarm, looking forward to that two minutes. A month later, the women around me asked what changed. And I knew I had to give this to other women too. So I built it - 56 cards, 8 songs, the same essential oils that walked me home. This is that ritual.
